Sets a new record of total 180,000 sqm exhibition coverage, Chinaplas 2011   attracts approximately 2,441 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions. It has been widely recognized as the world's second largest exhibition of plastics and rubber industry in the world, and still keeps growing year by year.
 

Chinaplas 2011 has achieved a successful result of outstanding number of 94,084 visitors; the rate of growth is 15.5% in total, and 20.27% are visitors from all over the world. 
 

For fulfilling the vision of “Green Plastic, Our Goal, Our Future", Chinaplas organized a green event named “Beating Record with Recycling Bottles” during 5/17 -5/20. The installation art was made by numerous used plastic bottles and placed on the ground as a real tree.
 

Moreover, Chinaplas 2011 held an eco-friendly plastics conference in the exhibition, which especially for the topics of bioplastics plastics, degradable plastics, recycling and energy-saving issues.
 

Such a big professional festival, the next one will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong, Shanghai on 18-20 April, 2012. Chinaplas has announced the new exhibition coverage will extend to 200,000sqm.
